Abstract
The Methyl Iodide Module developed by Seoul National University Hospital(SNUH) has chosen a simple loop method. After that, whenever synthesizing 11C-compounds by this new module, we have recorded all of the acquired data and evaluated it compared to old synthesis method. Teflon tubing was used for 11CO2 capture and Hydriodic acid loading. After synthesizing methyl iodide in the reaction vial, it is directly carried by nitrogen gas to HPLC auto injector which was connected from new module with Teflon tubing. Since we have been using new module, exposure dose rate was dramatically decreased whereas synthesis successful rate and product activity were increased because of the non-stop process. we could succeed in synthesizing 11Ccompounds such as MET, RACLO, PIB, ACE and MADAM by using methods and precursors next methyl iodide step.
